A MESSAGE from THE CHAIRMAN – PHIL HILLS

Phil Hill - Chairman 2019

‘Tempus fugit’ – Time flies, so they say. It has certainly flown by at the Tring Conservative Club in the past year and here we are again looking forward to more pleasant and enjoyable times with friends.

My thanks go out to all Club members for their support not only in visiting the Club on a regular basis but the many activities that are held here, such as the 2 Darts Teams, the 2 Crib Teams and the Domino Team. Can we forget the enthusiastic support of the Snooker players, with our two tables always occupied, who can resist in joining the club for this very favourite activity (we don’t have a team yet, please take note, enthusiasts?) The Quiz sessions, the 2 Bingo events, the Raffles and the monthly Entertainments Events and throughout the year, always popular! Details of which are to be found on the Entertainment Page, with posters and flyers that are always displayed in and around the club.

My appreciation and thanks go out to all Committee Members who have given their time and dedication in the roll that they play for the Club.

My sincere thanks as does yours, I am sure, goes out to our bar staff who in time of need has given great dedication. Will Jeffs (Steward) Tracy Rose (Catering Steward) Yvonne Young Jose Herbert (Bar Staff) and all those members who volunteered through- out the year.

To new member and existing ones I ask you to look forward to a pleasant and enjoyable time at the Con Club through-out 2020, but most of all support your club in whatever way you can.

IT IS YOUR CLUB, WITHOUT YOU THERE IS NO CLUB. MAY I WISH YOU ALL A VERY HAPPY AND HEALTHY 2020.
